In these workshops, participants will cover a range of topics important for co-parenting, healthy communication, and managing conflict in the home.  Some of these topics include:

  • Interpersonal Communications Skills;
  • Learning how to stay calm and master frustration, impatience, and “tipping over;”
  • Practicing Patience;
  • Learning how to communicate effectively with you co-parent or partner;
  • Best practices for communication, child exchange, and custody-related conflicts that often arise.

Effective communication between co-parents and couples in incredibly important.

Conflict in the home can have severe and lasting negative effects on children’s physical and mental health.  The video below describes some of these negative effects, and summarizes key points from a recent study out of Arizona State University’s REACH Institute (Research and Education Advancing Children’s Health)..
